Mock CQC Audits - Transforming Care Services

The Care Quality Commission shows no sign of slowing down its campaign to target ‘failing’ providers.
According to the national Press, around a quarter of the 16,000 care homes in the UK are currently classed as ‘requiring improvement’ or even ‘inadequate’ by the Commission.

In some cases, it’s too late and more homes than ever are closing because they haven’t met the required standards.

This is so avoidable!

Transforming Care Services Ltd., one of the country’s up and coming consultancies to the care sector, is seeing significant growth in the demand from providers for mock full CQC Inspections, Q&C audits, H&S audits, a “fresh pair of eyes” to assess care home operations and an enabling and supporting programme for Managers and staff around CQC Inspections.

Instead of waiting for a CQC inspection and the possibility of a negative outcome, more providers are calling in TCS to test and assess their systems, processes and operations and their policies and procedures, to ensure they stand up to any challenge.

Mike Stathers, joint managing director of TCS, said: “No one wants to see their home given a less than CQC Good rating and in most cases, this is entirely avoidable. By investing a relatively modest amount, operators and owners can have an honest appraisal on how good their services are and, if there are any issues, these can be tackled and resolved before the CQC act.

“It’s a cliché, but you know it makes sense.”
